The Neuromuscular evaluation by isokinetic dynamometry is a determinant to objectively quantify neuromuscular performance and a criterion for:
- Progress in rehabilitation in a safe and effective way.
- Implementation of exercise plans for sports injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance improvement.
- Comparing neuromuscular results as a function of growth, maturation and/or competitive level.
- Support informed and shared decisions regarding sports recovery.
The course has the purpose, and was developed, to promote knowledge and skills:
- In the design of isokinetic neuromuscular assessment protocols.
- In the methodological procedures of the tests.
- In the reading and interpretation of results regarding the individual, clinical and sports context.
The Isokinetic Neuromuscular Evaluation Course was structured to show and critically discuss the assessment procedures and protocol of running a test on a Humac Norm – Testing & Rehabilitation System.
We invite you to take this class immoderately, while sharing with you a guiding principle of Academia Clínicas Espregueira – “…to follow the path recommended by the latest evidence and best practices is a condition for excellence in the provision of health services and an exercise of humanity”.
